St Thomas' Hospital Choir

Notre Dame Singers have performed twice recently for the Chaplaincy at St Thomas' Hospital. On October 20th, for a BHM celebration service focusing on Well-being in the beautiful Chapel (see video below). We sang Jesus Christ is Waiting and Longing for Light unaccompanied, and led the congregation singing with the organ for It is well with my soul. We also listened to testimonies and presentations from health professionals at St Thomas'.

Also, we performed on November 11th for the Armistice service, to which representatives from the Armed Services, Police and Fire Brigade were  invited. Year 10 Performing Arts students joined us for this event. We sang hymns and chants focusing on peace and hope, with prayers and readings, and the Last Post and Reveille played by an Army bugler. Afterwards we laid poppy tributes among the wreaths below the statue of Mary Seacole. It is a yearly event we appreciate being invited to join, as it helps us remember those who for our Tomorrow, gave their Today.
