Educating Girls for Success

Music

Many students prepare for and are successful in Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music and Trinity College of Music examinations.

The Music Department at Notre Dame is a very busy place! Alongside lessons for Years 7 - 9 and the GCSE (OCR) course, we have individual lessons available after school from visiting teachers for girls who wish to have tuition in Singing, Violin, Guitar, Trumpet, Drumkit and Piano.

Notre Dame Singers meet every Friday, open to all years with no audition, and annually lead the singing in the Presentation of Prizes and GCSE Certificates, sing carols for Marie Curie Cancer Care at Waterloo station, and present An Evening of Carols and Readings for Christmas at St George's Cathedral.
